Foundation
The Most Excellent Way's solution to addiction is becoming God-dependent. Our principles for victory over living for self are based entirely upon God's Word - the Bible, and the promises it holds for lives that run to Jesus Christ. At Salem Heights Church we are committed to ministering to those who want help with any kind of addiction. In our ministry we often say, "Showing up changes everything." This has led us to create a safe, supportive and comfortable environment where people can experience the life changing message of Jesus - a loving Savior who makes people whole. We are not a steps group nor a recovery group. We are a victory group that absolutely believes that Christ sets peple free; and they are free indeed! At The Most Excellent Way we strive to help each other walk in His freedom.

Below are a few examples of the addictions we have seen individuals set free from:

Regardless of the issue you are dealing with, we know that Jesus Christ is the solution that brings lasting change from the inside out. We have met person after peson who can give testimony of a life transformed by Christ.
Qualified Staff
All of our meetings and studies are led by people who understand you because they have been set free from some form of addiction themselves. A person coming to The Most Excellent Way does not need to fear being judged because all of us get it. We love because Jesus first loved us, and we want to help others deeply know our Savior so that they may be set free as well.
Finding Hope
The Most Excellent Way meets every week (even on holidays) and has two meeting times and locations. Each meeting offers separate groups for men and women with childcare available. On Monday nights we have a group called "Friends and Family" for women desiring to know how to support their husband, child or friend struggling with addiction.

Online Meetings
During this time while we are not able to meet in person, we will be gathering online via Facebook Live to seek truth from God's Word and encourage one another. Check out the recordings from our online meetings. Also, in preparation for our meetings, take a look at the "Ten Attitudes of Victorious Living" - foundational truths for living in victory over addiction.
