Special Announcement

In light of the announcement from the State of Oregon banning all gatherings of 250 or more, and having consulted with medical professionals and pastors from other local churches, we have made the decision to cancel all ministry activities effective immediately. This would include Sunday services, small groups, and all other meetings. We will seek to clarify the extent of the cancellations this Wednesday, March 18, as the medical situation here in Oregon and abroad continues to unfold. The two exceptions to the cancellations will be The Most Excellent Way and individual counseling appointments.

In place of services this Sunday, March 15,  our pastors will be recording a message which will be available on our website Sunday morning. As we continue to abide by restrictions on large gatherings over the next month, we will keep you informed regarding access to sermons and worship opportunities through recordings or livestreaming. At this point, the church office will continue to be open during our normal office hours.  Please continue to pray for the families affected by the Coronavirus and medical professionals as they care for individuals that are impacted; and please pray for opportunities to share our Savior during this time.

Current Sermon

Christianity on the Grow - Part 1

In our jump back into the book of Acts, we stop in chapter 13, verses 1-3 to observe a transition taking place in the early church that would lead to the spread of the gospel in the Gentile world.

The video clip, "Acts Ch. 13-20," is provided by Bible Project. For more videos and information about Bible Project, visit bibleproject.com.

Announcements

Home Church at Church

We're inviting you to participate in the next phase of our reopening plan! Starting this Sunday, we will be doing "home church" at church, meeting together to view the pre-recorded sermon video and fellowship through prayer and Scripture-focused discussion!

Sunday Services

We're so thankful that we were able to meet in-person this past weekend to encourage one another and to watch the streaming Sunday service together! In this update video, Pastor Justin reminds us of our goal for our "Home Church at Church" season and answers three questions that have been on people's minds during this time.

If you'd like to skip ahead to the answers to these questions, please see these timestamps:
(4:05) Q: Is there still room for me?
(5:00) Q: Are we really social distancing?
(6:20) Q: What if I'm not ready?

There's still space for you at our 11:00 AM service! To join us on Sundays during this timeslot, hit the button below!

The Best of 2020

From a global pandemic, to forest fires and unrest in our country, it would be an understatement to say a lot happened in 2020! In the midst of many unexpected events, we saw God faithfully provide for our needs, reveal His presence in tough situations and extend His love to and through people even when we've needed to be socially distant. Join us as we take a look back at all God did in 2020!

Isaiah 58 Project

We are gathering items to assemble Blessing Bags. Families will have the opportunity to hand these bags out to people living on the street as they are driving around town. Blessing bag items can be bought directly from our Amazon Wishlist or monetary donations can be made to the Isaiah 58 Project fund to purchase the needed items. Checks with "Isaiah 58 Project" in the memo line can also be sent to the church. Once we have the items, Blessing Bag kits will be available for families to pick up at the church office.

Connect & Thrive

Our heart is to see our church family THRIVE even in the midst of unusual and uncertain circumstances. So, we're challenging you to consistently get into God's Word with your family and/or friends. Each week we'll provide a selected Bible passage and reflection questions for you read and discuss with others. Hit the button below for the current passage and questions.

Want to have the Bible passage and questions sent right to your phone? Text @shcthrive to 81010.

In this season it is our desire that each person would be meeting with another individual or family to watch the Sunday morning worship, ask each other the discussion questions, and grow deeper together. We are calling this a "moment" because this is not our final solution but a way for us to stay connected as a church family.
